SMADCON

This past weekend I had the awesome opportunity to attend Smadcon. I am sure most of you are asking yourself what is Smadcon? Well, let’s jump right into it.

Smadcon is a social media conference that was held here in Charleston SC. This conference was geared towards educating business owners, industry leaders, bloggers, and influencers, on creating an impact through social media.

As a blogger it was refreshing to listen to other blogger share their success stories. I soaked in all that I could from two full days of panel disscusions. The panel disccusions I went to were

• Campaign Development
• Grow followership
• Personal Branding

and a few others.  Smadcon left me full of creative ideas, new goals, and a fresh vision for my blog and social media platforms.

Here Are A Few Nuggets I Came Away With

• Be True To Your Brand– Don’t sway on what your brand is and where you want to go.
• Connect. Connect with your follwers and don’t be afraid to engage with them.
• Tell Your Story. People are attracted to geniunity and if youre telling your story they will listen.

I could go on and on but those are the nuggets that stood out to me. I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to attned the conference. Connecting connect with other liked minded bloggers and networking was amazing. My circle of blogger friends and creatives here in Charleston has grown and I couldn’t be more blessed to have them in my corner.
