The Power Of Virtual Connections

It’s 2018 and social media has become the platform to find bae, make connects, build a business, and make new friends!! If you haven’t noticed by now I am a social butterfly and I won’t stop flying. I’ve made some great connections virtually and I look forward to whats to come.

The best part of making friends virtually is when you actually meet them in person! Most recently I attended a Coffee & Conversations mixer held by my virtual BFF! I was super excited to get the invite and have an empty schedule. I woke up in expectation for a great time meeting new folks and chopping it up with my virtual BFF. My expectation was met with that and so much more.

I bet you’re wondering who is my “virtual BFF”? None other than Mrs. Charlenia Snider known here in the Lowcountry to many as “The Goal Slayer.” Charlenia Snider helps highly-driven, millennial women build a fulfilled life and brand they love through Vision Coaching and Graphic Design. I mean ya’ll how dope is she.

The Coffee & Conversation meetup was everything I needed and more. We had a special guest speaker a great group of ladies and a great host! Needless to say, meeting my “virtual BFF” was icing on the cake! We both chatted it up laughed and talked about the upcoming event “Heels n Headshots” where yours truly will be a panelist.

Heels n Headshots is a mixer that will allow women in business to connect, share and explore various industries during our entrepreneurial panel discussion with a few of Charleston’s most influential business gurus! Professional headshots will be provided by Jen Wilson Photography. If you’re a woman in business then this is where you’ll want to be Saturday, August 25th.

I am looking forward to that event and the next Coffe & Conversations meetup. it’s a blessing to make divine Godly connections!!

Social media isn’t all pictures and fun gifs its also about creating bonds when you least expect it!

  1. Awww… This is great! I feel the same about the beauty of virtual connections. Since becoming a SAHM, I have made many and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have said many times that the blogging community has got to be one of the most positive, uplifting environments I have ever been apart of . I am hoping to one day also meet some of my virtual BFF’s :).
