Quarter 2

Were officially in the second half of the year. The first quarter went flying by and I feel like I was as busy as a bee. Being busy is one thing but being productive is the ultimate goal.

As I look back over quarter one I see room for growth. Growth in various areas of my life. Here’s what I plan to do:

  • Make more time to sit still– The word says be still but how often do we put that into practice? Me, not enough so this is on my too do list.
  • Purposeful planning– I walk around with my calendar daily and jot down events and meeting that come flying at me. But! I don’t make them purposeful I tend to jump when someone needs something or wants to go somewhere. It’s in my energetic nature. My plan is to honestly think about whether this is benefiting me or brand. It has to have a purpose!
  • Eat better– The thing about being busy is that i don’t make time to eat my three square meals a day. My goal is to start meal prepping and planning my meals in advance. Wish me luck I’m a picky eater
  • Workout– I was big into working out and going to the gym etc. However, I’ve allowed being busy to eat my time and leave no room for anything else. I refuse to allow that to continue anymore. I’ve always been a morning person so I plan to get back into my morning routines.

Quarter 2 has got to be better than quarter 1! I’m setting my mind and putting plans into action to see it come to pass. What changes are you working on for quarter 2? let’s chat in the comments below.

  1. In quarter 2 I am going to be more intentional about my finances. I’m also gonna take time to be still on a regular basis cause I do t do that enough.
