Lexus Charleston Fashion Week

This year Lexus Charleston Fashion Week did things a bit different. As opposed to one week full of shows they broke it up into events instead.

The first event was held at the Cedar Room on Friday, March 22, 2019. This kickoff featured curated pop- up shops from top glam brands; beauty tips, tricks, and touchups; tasty cocktails alongside lite bites; high energy entertainment and interactive experiences, topped off with an after-party.

For this first show I wanted to rock something different yet classy. I opted for a custom made sequins skirt with a diy tube top. I took a white button down shirt and turned it into a tube top.

I had the pleasure of attending this first event with a few of my blogger friends. We had a blast that night from seeing the show to enjoy the pop-up shops. This first event kicked off with a bang.

Needless to say, I left ready for the next event.

The second Lexus Charleston Fashion Week Event was Friday, June 14, 2019, held at Memminger Auditorium. This second event was a chic fashion fete. This stylish event promised to dazzle with mixed media performances and dreamy runway shows. It had a showcase of on-the-rise fashion designers and makers, with on-trend looks for Summer. We got to strike a pose with Lexus, sip yummy refreshments and nosh on tasty treats.

Considering it was a beautiful summer evening I decided to bring the sun with me. For this event, I rocked a simple yellow dress with a beautiful African Ankara headwrap from Besida.

Another Fashion event means another great girls night out with my blogger friends.

The room was filled with so many beautiful people. I bumped into some old friends and made some new ones.

I ran into one of the sweetest ladies I met while working at The Swamp Fox Restaurant as a Host. This lovely lady would come to the restaurant and we’d share stories about our week and talk all things fashion. When I left the restaurant she was one of the first people I made sure to say my goodbyes to. Who knew we’d bump into each other once again. Here we are pictured below
