Weekend Round Up

Hey hey, it’s been a while since I’ve done a recap on what went down in my weekend. Needless to say last weekend was fun and full of priceless moments. Let’s start from Friday…

Friday night I had the pleasure of attending a private dress up party in which I went as Erykah Badu. Having these locs were the point of my inspiration to bring all the Badu vibes to the party.

The party was so much fun and a great time spent with dope people.

Saturday was all about the 5th Annual Afrikan Koncious Festival where I had the chance to be the hostess with the “mostess”. The festival was geared towards sharing information about Afrikan diaspora. The festival also encouraged community engagement, supporting black businesses, enlightening each other on various topics all while having hot topics speakers – fun activities – games – and trunk or treat for the kids in their chosen costume!

I left The Festival full on so many levels and off to Trappyoke I went.

Trappyoke is a culturally infused event, featuring live Hip Hop and R&B karaoke performances, dope costumes, and fresh cocktails.

their mission is to galvanize socialites throughout the low-country and the world, in a fun, safe, and energetic environment through live performances, music, and art.

Per usual Trappyoke was so much fun I love a good show and some time to cut a rug which I did!!

Sunday I had a bit of down time before to journal and just be still a much needed moment. I soaked it all in then got up to head to the Inaugural Carolina Classic Hair & Fashion Show

The 1st Annual Carolina Classic Hair Show “Charleston Edition” was held at the Exquis Event Center. The day was filled with presentations and competitions from stylist, barbers, and top business professionals from Atlanta, Charlotte, Virginia, Philadelphia, Tennessee and all parts of South Carolina.

I had a chance to grab some footage of the day. Hit play below and enjoy!!

That was my weekend in a nutshell let’s see what’s I’ll get into this weekend!! Thanks for reading, watching, and supporting my blog. It means more to me than you’ll know!!
