Most recently I teamed up with my loves, The Cocktail Bandits and The Fashionable Traveler with Ten to One Rum for an Instagram takeover. It was so much fun to join in the fun with my girls for a night of cocktails, chatting, and going live. As we know going live on Instagram or any other social platform it the “new normal” for brands and influencers these days. Nevertheless it was a much needed time of connecting and making new memories with my gal pals.
For the live I used Ten to One’s White (Vegan) Rum for a lime filled matcha mojito just the kickoff I needed for the weekend. Most of all I enjoyed incorporating herbs from my raised bed garden. Over the past few weeks I’ve been reaping my harvest from Okra, to white potatoes, and a variety of herbs. In all honesty my green thumb is inherited from my mother who was the queen of the garden. Her hands in the garden definitely blessed my vegetables and herbs causing them to flourish. To create my lime mojito I used the fresh mint herbs straight from the garden.
It’s tough times were living in and hopefully you’ve found a way to destress and be at peace. For me it’s being in the garden tilling the soil and reaping my harvest. Check out the recipe below straight from Ten to One Rum for the lime matcha mojito and enjoy.
- IN A CHILLED COLLINS GLASS ADD LIME JUICE, SIMPLE SYRUP, MINT, MATCHA POWDER, & RUM.
- GENTLY MUDDLE.
- POUR IN ICE AND TOP WITH SELTZER.
- TOP WITH SELTZER AND STIR.
- GARNISH WITH A FRESH MINT SPRIG.
- CELEBRATE WITH FRIENDS.
