Pulse Check

This is probably the eighth time I’ve sat down to write a blog post. There is so much going on everywhere! In the midst of it all I’m learning to give myself grace. Grace is much needed during these times not only for myself but others as well. Maintaining my mental health and well being is what matters most.

So what have I been up to? Well I’ve been binge watching Dynasty, walking the bridge, making random Tik Tok videos, shopping online, and tweaking my living space. A whole bunch of random things right!? Some like to say that spontaneity is my middle name and I have to agree. A few months back I took an enneagram test and it showed up in my results as well.

Taking personality test has been so helpful in my personal development over the years. The myers briggs personality test is my favorite and learning about myself through the results was amazing. When I got wind of the enneagram test I just had to take it. An Enneagram test helps you find your specific personality types. There are nine Enneagram types, and according to the Enneagram Institute, “it is common to find a little of yourself in all nine of the types, although one of them should stand out as being closest to yourself.

I bet you’re wondering what’s my number right!? I’m a number 7 to the bone.  Enneagram Type 7 (The Adventurer) According to Crystal Knows people with an Enneagram Type 7 personality tend to be enthusiastic, adventurous, and spontaneous in their behavior. They love seeking out new experiences. They are people-oriented and enjoy pursuing new relationships.

I follow Brush & Barley over on Instagram for Enneagram inspiration.

There you have it ladies and gents me in a nutshell. You can see why it gets challenging for me sit still and write a blog post. In addition to being spontaneous I miss my gal pals, brunches, and being amongst my group of friends. If only you could be a fly on the wall in my home you’d see me waking up with all the mojo as if I’m going somewhere. Then reality sets in and bloop hello Narcisa it’s a pandemic out there. I’m grateful for my inner circle of friends and family that remind me to breathe we’re in this together. Oh and of course tell me I can’t go anywhere lol unless necessary.

My bubbly spontaneous personality isn’t going anywhere but I can challenge myself to put in the effort to show up. Blogging and creating content is what I love but somehow I let 2020 blow my torch. No worries I’m getting my fire back and I’m leaving it all right here. A huge shout out to the fabulous Mattie James for challenging us influencers to be consistent in all that we do. This month she’s challenging us to focus on creating content daily on our blogs. Yup! I bet you’re saying that’s a lot of writing and content creating. Guess what, I’m game! I have it in me and now I’m just letting flow. As it flows out of my heart and onto this page I hope you come along for the ride. It will be a ride we won’t forget. Cheers to me this is officially blogspot submission day 2 of the #mjconsistencychallenge.
