My Stay At The Ryder Hotel
For my 40th birthday I had the pleasure of staying at The Ryder Hotel in downtown Charleston, SC. The Ryder Hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC the perfect place to be. The Ryder Hotel is one of the newest hotels to take on Charleston, SC. The Ryder is known for its boutique style escape from everyday living to paradise low-country style. Low-country living at it’s finest in one location that promises to take you away from the stress and into relaxation.

What better weekend than your birthday to ease the stress away with a staycation. I secured the date and whisked away from my busy life in Summerville, SC down to Charleston, SC. I arrived at the hotel with my gal pal and we checked in to the lovely Ryder Hotel. The hotel lobby itself was so captivating from the colors to the decor everything was well thought out. The receptionist was super friendly and very welcoming.

Let’s talk about the room! The room was so inviting and set the mood for relaxation upon entering. I absolutely love the colors and the decor in the room as well. Think boho meets low-country and whala you’re in The Ryder! The bed was super soft and comfortable with robes that felt just as amazing! Our room was set in the cutest corner with a great view of downtown. I couldn’t have asked for a cuter space or more comfortable room.

Of course the room is just one aspect of the hotel. They are also well known for their Little Palm Bar the ryder hotel restaurant features a poolside bar and a fun festive atmosphere to eat and enjoy. I’ve been to the Little Palm a few times prior to my stay and the food was enjoyable. I especially loved their french fries and the avocado toast. Prior to heading out for my birthday dinner I had a few drinks with my friend and local residents. It’s always a blast meeting and mingling with locals. The Little Palm Bar is always a vibe full of fun and a great atmosphere.

If you’re looking for an upbeat fun and cozy hotel I highly suggest The Ryder Hotel. I throughly enjoyed my stay and my time down at The Little Palm Bar. One thing I love about Charleston is all the fun new hotels and restaurant opening up monthly and almost daily! Be sure to let me know if you go. Talk soon!
